




**Job Description** **Who will you work with?** You will be part of the Manufacturing Quality team, within the structure responsible for the quality of the Contagem/MG plant. **How will you make a difference?** As a member of the Manufacturing Quality team, you will be responsible for: * Ensuring proper guidance and support to the manufacturing team, in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, and assembly process instructions for Wabtec products. * Providing technical support to Manufacturing Engineering, Services, Maintenance, and Materials teams in evaluating and addressing manufacturing-related process failures; **What do we want to know about you?** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent—completed or in progress. Advanced English proficiency Knowledge of locomotive systems and experience in manufacturing processes. * Strong written communication skills, correct use of the Portuguese language, and ability to synthesize information; * Results-oriented mindset, demonstrating discipline, diligence, and consistency in delivering assigned tasks; * Proficiency in using computer systems; * Clear and direct communication skills; ability to speak publicly and conduct training sessions; * Professional demeanor, showing willingness and openness to discussions while respecting colleagues; * Proactive approach in daily activities, proposing initiatives to solve problems and seeking necessary resources through cross-functional collaboration; * High energy to question current manufacturing processes and propose improvements, as well as resilience to sustain them. **What will your day-to-day look like?** * Provide support to the Manufacturing team and leadership by guiding and resolving any doubts related to productive process application and quality. * Conduct final inspections on locomotives as part of the ICP (Inspection Customer Perception) process, assisting in defect detection for continuous improvement and for presenting increasingly satisfactory products to customers. * Monitor and support the Field Engineering team in resolving issues identified in operating locomotives. * Perform failure analysis and identify root causes of components that may exhibit non-conformance during operation and/or use. * Deliver training and guidance to manufacturing teams through quality alerts and lessons learned. * Conduct internal audits and analyze non-conformities related to processes and products, identifying the problem, defining root cause, proposing and monitoring implementation of action plans, and communicating results to the Manufacturing and Quality areas. * Open and manage product non-conformities detected during manufacturing processes using Wabtec’s tools. *“A strong candidate has been identified for this position, but all interested and qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.”* **Additional Information** **What could you achieve in an environment that truly puts People First?** At Wabtec, it’s not just about a job—it’s about the impact you create.
