FROM 2:00 PM TO 10:20 PM WITH A 1-HOUR BREAK.** Job Description: The Supermarket Store Operator plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation and organization of the store. This employee will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to inventory management, store maintenance, and support of operational activities. They will play a fundamental role in customer satisfaction by ensuring products are readily available, the environment is clean and organized, and operations proceed without issues. Responsibilities and Duties: 1\. Inventory Management: \- Receive, inspect, and organize products arriving at the store. \- Store products appropriately on shelves and in storage areas. \- Monitor inventory levels and perform restocking as needed. \- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in tracking product expiration dates. 2\. Product Restocking: \- Check shelves and ensure products are adequately stocked and organized. \- Restock shelves with fresh products and verify that pricing and labels are correct. 3\. Handling Cardboard Boxes: \- Properly disassemble and dispose of empty cardboard boxes. \- Keep storage and box-disassembly areas clean and organized. 4\. Versatility and Availability: \- Be available to assist with any task related to the aforementioned activities, ensuring effective store operation, such as product packing, cashier assistance, or delivery support. 5\. Access to Refrigerated and Frozen Chambers: \- Responsible for entering refrigerated and frozen chambers to ensure chilled and frozen products are properly stored and organized. \- Comply with all safety guidelines when handling products in refrigerated and frozen chambers. 6\. Perform other duties related to this position as directed by the store manager / department supervisor. Requirements: \- Completed (or currently pursuing) high school education. \- Physical capability to lift and move merchandise.
