Opportunity for professional growth in gastronomy **Position Available: Kitchen Assistant \- Pica Pau Country Club** The **Pica Pau Country Club**, a venue offering sports, leisure, health, and well-being all in one space, currently has an **opening for a Kitchen Assistant**! If you are passionate about cooking, eager to learn, and wish to contribute to preparing high-quality meals in a welcoming environment, this is the opportunity for you! **Main Responsibilities:** * Clean, wash, cut, chop, and slice vegetables, fruits, and other foods. * Season salads and prepare sandwiches. * Thaw, clean, and debone meats, poultry, and seafood. * Assist in food preparation and cooking, heating and seasoning as required. * Evaluate food taste, color, and texture to ensure quality. * Maintain a clean and organized workplace, washing dishes and utensils, and ensuring proper kitchen conditions. * Perform other duties related to the position as needed. **Prerequisites:** * Prior experience as a Kitchen Assistant or in related areas is preferred. * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and workplace hygiene. * Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other departments. * Proactivity and willingness to learn and assist with various kitchen tasks. **Desirable Prerequisites:** * Knowledge of food temperature control. * Familiarity with Good Practices Manual and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). * Experience in receiving and storing goods. **What We Offer:** * A pleasant and dynamic work environment at a club with leisure and health infrastructure. * Opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning in gastronomy. * Attractive benefits.
