Job Summary: IT Infrastructure Internship, focusing on support, monitoring, virtualization, operating system administration, and backup routines. Key Highlights: 1. IT Infrastructure Support and Monitoring 2. Assistance with Virtualization and Cloud (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox) 3. Operating System Administration (Windows Server, Linux) **INTERNSHIP \- IT\_ INFRASTRUCTURE** **Responsibilities:** * Support and Monitoring: Monitor dashboards (Zabbix, Grafana) to identify server outages or excessive resource consumption (CPU, RAM). Provide Level 1 support for connectivity and system access issues. * Virtualization and Cloud: Assist in creating, configuring, and cloning Virtual Machines (VMs). Monitor snapshot management (quick backups) and resource allocation on hypervisors. Common technologies: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper\-V, Proxmox, or Nutanix. * Operating System Administration: Windows Server: Assist with user management in Active Directory (AD), folder permissions, and Group Policy Objects (GPO). Linux: Execute basic terminal commands to check logs, permissions, and service status. * Backup and Continuity: Verify daily whether backup routines completed successfully.
