





What is expected of the Mechanic II is to operate and monitor machines and production equipment for cigarette filters, which will be under their responsibility, including mechanical services and medium to high complexity adjustments, aiming to ensure they function correctly and in accordance with safety procedures during production within required quality standards and efficiency. Monitor module indicators and perform activities to achieve positive results. Responsible for closely following production and assisting operators when necessary. The company culture is welcoming, where the team is willing to teach and learn together, for mutual benefit. **Responsibilities and duties** 1\.Perform all responsibilities of the Production Operator. 2\.Perform corrective, preventive and/or predictive maintenance, repairing, assembling, adjusting and/or regulating machines and equipment according to the maintenance plan, identifying and analyzing defects, recovering or replacing damaged parts and subassemblies; 3\.Request consumable materials or spare parts necessary for the operation of the area through service orders, quotation requests and/or purchase requisitions for subsequent approval; 4\.Ensure the flow of information in the DMS of MP\&S, DH and DBE, recording this information in SAP. 5\.Keep drawings, diagrams, manuals, catalogs, bulletins and other printed materials properly organized and cataloged; 6\.Develop the operational team regarding best operational practices. 7\.Develop mechanical multi-skilling across different technologies in the sector. 8\.Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements to the PM pillar (Progressive Maintenance – aims to achieve ideal conditions of equipment and processes in an efficient and economical manner); 9\.Propose countermeasures for all breakdowns that meet the deep analysis criteria. **Requirements and qualifications** Completed technical education in Industrial Mechanics, Mechatronics or related fields. Experience in industry with equipment maintenance; Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, equipment operation, assembly and disassembly of parts, identification and understanding of component operation (valves, pumps), lubrication, vibration analysis, among others. Desirable knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools, Lean Manufacturing **Additional information** The company offers competitive benefits compared to the market.
