About the position Responsible for analyzing and executing accounting entries, ensuring the correct accounting of entries originating from other company departments. Perform accounting reconciliations, address internal and external requests, and ensure adherence to correct accounting procedures. Review information received from interfacing departments, propose process improvements, verify compliance with applicable accounting standards and practices, and guarantee all deliverables required by corporate, tax, and regulatory legislation. Responsibilities and duties Perform reconciliations, identify, analyze, and resolve pending items with involved departments through review of controls, workflows, and source systems; Record accounting entries for Fixed Assets group accounts, and verify and validate monthly depreciation calculations, identifying errors and process failures; Import and ensure accurate payroll accounting by monitoring and verifying the interface; Maintain confidentiality of accounting-related information, safeguarding data not yet disclosed by the Insurance Company; Prepare documentation and reports for external audit purposes, including explanations for variations in balance sheet and income statement accounts; Support implementation of newly developed internal systems by monitoring, suggesting improvements, and performing tests to validate data; Analyze annual Chart of Accounts update requirements, as well as monitor necessary changes throughout the fiscal year; Propose simplification and automation of processes to enhance efficiency and reliability, thereby preventing errors in financial statements; Record monetary adjustments for judicial deposits and other contingencies; Guide employees from other departments on the proper accounting treatment of transactions, advising them on the best methods to identify and resolve existing questions; Review and validate information sent to accounting by source systems via interfaces, reconciliations, supporting documentation, and comparison with control reports generated by respective departments. **Bachelor’s degree completed — in Accounting — Active registration with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC) — 1 year (MANDATORY)** Position type: Full-time, Permanent CLT Compensation: R$3.000,00 — R$3.500,00 per month Benefits: * Transportation allowance
