Important job details: * Work location: Uberaba \- MG * Work modality: On-site * Employment type: Permanent Responsibilities: * Monitor or conduct pre-use inspections of machinery and equipment, tools, and instruments used in the job, verifying their proper operation to prevent work defects, accidents, and losses; record and report any irregularities found to the immediate supervisor for appropriate action; * Monitor equipment operation tests and calibration to verify compliance with technical specifications, manuals, and drawings; * Ensure correct use and preservation of required PPE to prevent workplace accidents and minimize unsafe conditions; * Comply with occupational medicine, health, and safety programs, participating in Safety Dialogues and using designated PPE, collective protective equipment (CPE), and uniforms according to RHI Magnesita’s established norms and standards; * Fully or partially disassemble and/or reassemble machinery or equipment per contractor instructions and equipment specifications, using appropriate tools to repair or replace defective parts, thereby restoring the damaged system; * Perform electrical lockout under supervision of the immediate superior to ensure zero movement and zero energy, as per current internal procedures, requesting the operator to conduct a consistency test to ensure safety during task execution; * Conduct pre-use inspections of machinery, equipment, and tools, verifying their proper operation, recording and reporting any irregularities found to the immediate supervisor for appropriate action, to prevent accidents, losses, and work defects; * Perform risk analysis for planned activities, inspecting the site and identifying unsafe conditions, noting existing risks on the back of service orders (SOs) and implementing measures to eliminate or minimize risk conditions to prevent accidents and incidents; * Perform other related duties as directed or requested by the immediate supervisor; * Carry out preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities, including assembly, disassembly, repairs, and part replacements to fulfill service order requirements and restore equipment operational capacity; * Read and interpret drawings and sketches to identify optimal service execution methods and required tooling, prioritizing production of more complex parts to ensure production flow; * Keep the workplace clean and organized, collecting and disposing of waste and/or residues in appropriate containers to maintain hygiene, safety, and environmental standards per Magnesita and contractor requirements; * Assemble general electrical control or power panels based on machine electrical drawings to improve processes; * Complete the SO describing additional services performed, actual execution time, anomalies identified, difficulties encountered, and other relevant service information, returning it to the supervisor and/or team leader for necessary action; * Perform preventive and/or corrective electrical maintenance on contractor machinery, equipment, and facilities per pre-scheduled plans to preserve and ensure their proper functioning; * Receive service orders, identifying the location and machine requiring maintenance, and consult the supervisor or team leader to fully understand necessary activity details; * Request the operator to test repaired equipment and machinery, verifying whether detected issues and defects have been resolved, ensuring full productive capacity; * Record daily maintenance occurrences, reporting daily activities performed, along with location, hours worked, date, and other relevant information to maintain an accurate activity log; * Safeguard materials and instruments under personal responsibility used in job execution, performing proper cleaning and storage to extend their useful life; * Read and interpret electrical diagrams and projects, and propose improvements to existing installations; * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and installations across the entire building infrastructure; * Supervise, control, operate, and maintain substations, generator sets, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, transformers, and all accessories connected to these systems.
