Description

**About the Role** We are transforming the Operations Specialist role into a more strategic position in Energy Management, with a macro-level business perspective and direct involvement in decision-making. The Energy Management team is responsible for administering energy credits injected into our customers’ consumption units — the core of the operation that ensures delivery of our product. We seek a hands\-on professional with an analytical mindset, visionary thinking, and the ability to structure processes. Someone who can fluently bridge Back Office, Energy Management, and Billing — connecting dots and driving decisions that unlock results for both end customers and the company. **Key Responsibilities** **Energy Balance and Credit Balances** Manage the operational energy balance, ensuring accuracy of generation, injection, and consumption data. Oversee credit balance management — identifying discrepancies, proposing corrections, and ensuring customers receive the correct benefit on their bills. **Allocation Lists** Provide technical support for building and validating allocation lists submitted to distribution utilities, serving as the analytical intelligence hub for this process (not as an operational executor). **Improvement Projects and Strategic Vision** Drive and steer improvement initiatives across areas involved in the energy delivery chain. Identify bottlenecks, propose structural solutions, and lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and delivered product quality. **Process Development** Design and implement solutions using activity optimization tools — such as Artificial Intelligence and Automation — to scale operations, reduce manual effort, and elevate the team’s analytical capability. **Analysis and Decision-Making** Conduct critical and investigative analyses of operational data, converting insights into clear recommendations for management. Serve as the technical and analytical reference for all three operational areas. **Technical Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields * Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, modeling, automation) * Experience with data visualization and analysis tools (Power BI required; Looker, Tableau, or similar are advantages) * Knowledge of SQL or data manipulation languages * Experience building and optimizing processes * Familiarity with AI tools and applications in operational contexts (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, automations) **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior experience in the electricity sector, distributed generation, or the free energy market * Knowledge of ANEEL regulations applicable to distributed generation (Law No. 14\.300/2022 and Normative Resolution No. 1\.000/2021\) * Experience working in companies undergoing structuring or rapid growth * Background in consulting, auditing, analysis, or planning and control functions **Behaviors and Soft Skills** * **Ownership mindset**: views operations as their own and actively pursues optimal outcomes * **Critical and strategic thinking**: challenges the status quo and proposes innovative paths * **Analytical and investigative ability**: digs deep into root causes and does not settle for surface-level explanations * **Systems thinking**: sees the big picture and connects areas, processes, and people * **Clear communication**: writes and speaks concisely, tailoring messages to the audience * **Proactivity and organization**: anticipates needs, prioritizes clearly, and delivers consistently * **Hands\-on profile**: rolls up sleeves when needed without losing strategic perspective
