**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** Someone to join our **Controller’s Office** team at the **Uberaba/MG** unit, in **on-site** format. Your role’s mission is to ensure compliance with legal, corporate, and accounting standards, reduce the tax burden, thereby contributing to improving the company’s economic and financial management. **Responsibilities and Duties** **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * Perform internal controls to comply with company-established policies. * Analyze potential risks to the security and reliability of financial and accounting information. * Develop and map processes and procedures together with the Controller to mitigate potential risks. * Develop and coordinate action plans, as needed, with relevant departments. * Monitor execution and completion of action plans. * Monitor compliance with processes and procedures across each department. * Assist in preparing financial and operational reports for distribution to the Controller and General Manager. * Assist in the monthly controller’s office closing for operations. * Assist in preparing various presentations and reports. **Requirements and Qualifications** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** * Degree in Accounting, Accountancy, or related fields. * Proficiency in financial management tools. * Advanced Excel knowledge. * Office Suite knowledge. * Power BI knowledge desirable. * SAP knowledge. **Additional Information** **Smurfit Westrock**, a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging, operates in 40 countries with over 500 packaging conversion operations and 62 paper mills.
