It covers the entire operation of a fertilizer manufacturing or blending unit—from raw material handling through to the final product. **Position Description \| Responsibilities** --------------------------------------------- * Manage your team and the production process, ensuring adherence to standards through monitoring activity execution; * Ensure all Yara employees and third parties comply with regulations, policies, and procedures; conduct critical analysis of procedures and propose improvements when necessary; * Know, apply, and promote Safe by Choice program practices; * Deploy applicable Yara HOPS and TOPS for the department, supported by relevant functional areas; * Ensure formal risk assessment of all operational activities (JHAs); * Perform routine process tasks (WOC, IS, RQA, Safety Walk, GEMBA, Quality, Process Confirmation); * Ensure adherence to scheduling, performance, active participation in Gatekeeping and PCP meetings; * Responsible for issuing, controlling, and closing Work Permits (WP), ensuring work execution complies fully with all safety procedures; * Recruit, select, and develop teams; * Engage the team and lead by example; * Train the team on all procedures, standards (SOPs), and best practices within the area to ensure knowledge retention and individual impact on performance indicators; * Monitor chemical and physical analyses of the final product to ensure shipment meets requirements set by relevant regulatory authorities and the company’s quality policy. **Profile \| Education and Knowledge** -------------------------------------- * Collaborative mindset, initiative, curiosity, ownership mentality, and respect for diversity; * Bachelor’s degree completed in Engineering or related fields; * Knowledge of Safety tools; * Knowledge of Lean tools; * English language proficiency is considered an advantage; * Experience in direct people management; * Industrial sector experience; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP; * Availability to work rotating shifts. **Additional Information** -------------------------- * Postgraduate studies in People Management are considered advantageous.
