




Job Summary: A Traffic Operator manages vehicle traffic flow on highways, performing enforcement, control, and monitoring, while also supporting operations and communicating with the CCO. The Traffic Operator is responsible for managing vehicle traffic flow on highways, conducting traffic enforcement, traffic control, monitoring road conditions, and supporting towing operations. In addition, the professional is responsible for communicating with the Operational Control Center (CCO) to ensure smooth operations and highway safety. * Control and monitor vehicle traffic flow on highways, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and maintaining safety; * Conduct vehicle inspections, verifying documentation, safety conditions, and compliance with traffic regulations; * Coordinate actions to reduce congestion by identifying critical points and implementing measures to optimize traffic flow; * Prevent and respond to hazardous situations, such as accidents or adverse traffic conditions, to ensure road fluidity and safety; * Perform towing operations, safely and efficiently removing immobilized or accident-involved vehicles in accordance with safety regulations and operational procedures; * Maintain continuous communication with the Operational Control Center (CCO), reporting traffic conditions, incidents, and support requirements to ensure efficient coordination of rescue and road maintenance activities; * Monitor road and signage conditions, documenting anomalies or maintenance needs and coordinating actions with responsible teams; * Support emergency, security, and maintenance teams during highway accidents or emergency situations; * Prepare reports on traffic conditions, observed incidents, actions taken, and performed towing operations; * Collaborate with other agencies and teams—including highway police, security teams, and other service providers—to ensure smooth operations and driver safety; * Ensure that communication equipment, tow trucks, and signage are always functioning properly; * Perform other related duties at the discretion of the immediate supervisor; * Assist in animal apprehension along the inspected stretch, safeguarding user safety; * Perform other related duties at the discretion of the immediate supervisor; * Properly use company-provided systems and resources for job performance, in accordance with internal rules and procedures; * Properly use company-provided systems and resources for job performance, in accordance with internal rules and procedures; * At the start of each shift, inspect the vehicle’s operational condition—checking water, oil, tire condition, overall vehicle status, and fuel level—and report any deficiencies to the immediate supervisor to ensure compliant vehicle usage per regulations, procedures, and guidelines; * Know and comply with policies, standards, procedures, or work instructions established by the company’s Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, and Road Safety management systems, as applicable to the role, or as required by current legislation. 2511040202261787207
