Prevents incidents through technical analyses and application of process safety best practices (Process Safety), promoting operational integrity and sustainable unit performance. * ]**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, with active registration at CREA. * **Experience:** Minimum of 3 to 5 years working as a Process Engineer in industrial plants, preferably in oil and gas. Proven knowledge of process safety (Process Safety Management – PSM). * **Tool Proficiency:** Microsoft Office suite; process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ProII) Risk analysis tools (PHA-Pro, BowTieXP, etc.) Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, flow diagrams, and technical specifications. * Technical rigor and attention to detail * Analytical and solution-oriented profile * Focus on safety and compliance * Strong interpersonal communication skills * Teamwork and proactivity * Ability to make decisions under pressure * Develop and optimize chemical and operational processes within industrial units, aiming for efficiency, loss reduction, and safety. * Conduct risk analyses (HAZOP, What-If, LOPA) and participate in implementing preventive and corrective measures. * Provide technical support to operations and maintenance to ensure adherence to process safety standards. * Draft and review operating and safety procedures. * Participate in incident investigation committees, focusing on root cause analysis related to processes. * Evaluate process unit performance and recommend operational adjustments or improvement projects. * Specify technical requirements for equipment and systems related to process integrity (e.g., safety valves, relief systems). * Conduct technical and operational training related to process safety and best practices. * Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (ANP, NR-13, NR-20, NR-33, NR-34, etc.) and corporate SMS requirements. * Participate in the development and revision of P&IDs, PFDs, and engineering technical documentation.
