Job Summary: This professional will join the maintenance team at the Uberaba Unit, responsible for performing mechanical maintenance activities and supporting the preservation of machines and equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Perform preventive maintenance and assist with corrective maintenance. 2. Lubricate, clean, and adjust industrial equipment. 3. Support the manufacturing and repair of parts. **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** Someone to join our **maintenance team at the Uberaba Unit**, responsible for performing mechanical maintenance activities and supporting the team in preserving machines and equipment. **Responsibilities and Duties** **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * Perform preventive maintenance according to the established plan, following schedules and defined standards. * Assist in executing corrective maintenance under supervision, supporting fault identification and resolution. * Carry out lubrication, technical cleaning, and simple adjustments on industrial equipment. * Identify initial faults through routine inspections (vibration, noise, temperature, wear, and irregular operation). * Operate hand tools, electric tools, and basic measuring instruments, ensuring safe and proper usage. * Support the manufacturing, repair, or welding of parts as required for corrective or scheduled maintenance. * Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and work instructions to perform tasks. * Apply basic metrology concepts using appropriate instruments. * Comply with safety regulations by following internal procedures. **Requirements and Qualifications** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** * Technical course in Mechanics. * Knowledge of metrology. * Basic understanding of technical drawing reading and interpretation. **Additional Information** **Smurfit Westrock**, a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging, operates in 40 countries with over 500 packaging conversion operations and 59 paper mills.
