Job Summary: A professional to inspect and execute paving works, perform technological control of materials, interpret engineering designs, and prepare technical reports. Key Highlights: 1. Interpretation of road infrastructure projects #### **Responsibilities** * Monitor and inspect the execution of paving works (earthworks, subgrade, sub-base, asphalt or concrete surface course) in accordance with project specifications. * Perform technological control of materials, including sample collection and execution of compaction tests (Proctor, sand cone), CBR, gradation, and asphalt mixtures. * Assist in interpreting pavement engineering designs, topographic plans, and cross-sections, verifying compliance with technical guidelines. * Prepare field monitoring, quality control, and measurement reports for completed works, documenting deviations and non-conformities. * Operate topographic surveying equipment (level, theodolite, total station) to verify elevations, alignments, and slopes in earthwork and paving projects. #### **Requirements** * Completed technical education in Building Construction, Highways, Civil Construction, or Surveying/Geomatics. * Experience in inspection or execution of asphalt and/or concrete paving works. * Solid knowledge of technical standards applicable to pavement engineering (DNIT, DERSA, ABNT, DER), including soil and asphalt material testing methodologies. * Driver's license category B and availability for field work and travel. #### **Skills** * Ability to conduct field and laboratory quality control tests for soils and asphalt mixtures. * In-depth knowledge of reading and interpreting road infrastructure and pavement engineering designs. * Proficiency in preparing measurements, quantity take-offs, and daily construction logs, with attention to technical details. ### **Employment Type:** CLT ### **Benefits:** Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Private Pension Plan, Life Insurance, Psychological Therapy or Counseling Support, Transportation Allowance, Flexible Meal Voucher, Profit Sharing and Results Program, Remote Work Allowance, Childcare Assistance (subject to verification), Funeral Assistance, Commuter Bus Service, Exclusive Discounts with Partner Companies ### **Department:** ENGINEERING
