Technology research and innovation grounded in solid mathematical foundations. **Location: On-site mandatory — Vitória/ES** Company: Atman **ABOUT THE POSITION** This position involves Computer Vision development, focusing on video processing, object detection and tracking, real-time analysis, and integration with cameras and hardware. Work includes deploying machine learning and deep learning models in production environments, running both on edge devices (embedded systems/cameras) and servers, requiring attention to latency, performance, and efficient resource utilization. **RESPONSIBILITIES** · Research and evaluate solutions and tools to address practical problems; · Develop machine learning applications focused on computer vision; · Evaluate algorithm performance using established metrics from the literature; · Prepare datasets for training and testing neural network-based algorithms; · Integrate developed applications with other software and hardware products—either internally developed or third-party; · Document all work performed. **TECH STACK AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE** · Familiarity with classical computer vision techniques such as optical flow, edge detection, background subtraction, and histogram equalization; · Experience applying machine learning and deep learning to computer vision, with emphasis on convolutional neural networks (CNNs); · Proficiency in Python or C\+\+; · Knowledge of parallel programming for CPU and GPU; · Familiarity with relevant libraries and frameworks, such as: OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, NVIDIA AI, GStreamer; · Adherence to agile software development best practices and project self-management, including proficiency in: Git, Docker, REST APIs, databases and SQL, DevOps/MLOps; · Experience with embedded systems and algorithm optimization for specialized hardware; · Aptitude for conducting research and proposing technological innovations, keeping abreast of state-of-the-art advancements in computer vision; **MATHEMATICAL FOUNDATION** Applied linear algebra and probability, with the ability to understand, adapt, and optimize existing models.
