Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to support accounting routines, ensure proper bookkeeping, and fulfill ancillary obligations, contributing to financial reliability. Key Highlights: 1. Support accounting routines and monthly/annual financial closings 2. Attend internal and external audits, providing documents and information 3. Assist in the accounting of provisions and accounting adjustments Summary of Responsibilities We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our accounting team. The professional will be responsible for supporting accounting routines, ensuring accurate recording of accounting events, compliance with ancillary obligations, and addressing internal requests, thereby contributing to the reliability of the company's financial information. * Record accounting entries and verify supporting documentation; * Assist in monthly and annual financial closing processes; * Verify integrations among Tax, Finance, Inventory, and Accounting modules; * Assist in the accounting of provisions, allocations, and other accounting adjustments; * Organize and maintain accounting and tax documentation; * Attend internal and external audits, providing documents and information upon request; * Support Finance, Tax, and Controller areas on accounting-related matters. * Archive accounting documentation; **Requirements** * Currently pursuing or completed undergraduate degree in Accounting Sciences; * Advanced Excel knowledge and proficiency with accounting systems; * Up-to-date knowledge of accounting and tax regulations. * Knowledge of accounting reconciliations and monthly closing; * ERP system and digital bookkeeping (SPED) experience preferred. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in retail trade companies; * Knowledge of inventory valuation and accounting for purchase and sale of goods; * Experience with ECD, ECF, and other ancillary obligations; * Knowledge of inventory procedures and inventory reconciliations.
