Compounding Assistant - Pharmacist Technician

**Responsibilities:** * Encapsulate magistral formulations following the compounding order; * Accurately complete the compounding order (full information on capsules used — size, color, batch, supplier, expiration date); * Monitor capsule and packaging inventory; * Accurately complete the weighing sheet in the "COMPOUNDED" field; * Prepare standard formulations as required by production needs; * Accurately complete the compounding order (full information in the fields for weighed, homogenized, compounded, verified, and finalized. Complete the footer of the compounding order with respective characteristics observed in the final formulation, such as appearance, odor, pH, and net weight); * Label compounded formulations, verifying label information against the compounding sheet; * Monitor active ingredient and packaging inventory; * Perform average weight testing per pharmacy guidelines; * Report and escalate to the manager any formulations failing the average weight test; * Disassemble formulations upon manager’s request; * Dispose of formulations per manager’s instructions; * Conduct final capsule count; * Place capsules into containers; **Requirements:** Technical course in Chemistry or Pharmacy.
