




Job Summary: Manage socio-environmental issues at power plants and surrounding communities, ensuring best practices, legal compliance, and effective stakeholder engagement to promote the organization’s positive image. Support for budgetary management and socio-environmental contracts **Socio-Environmental Management:** Manage socio-environmental issues at operational power plants through periodic site visits to facilities and neighboring communities, representing the organization and analyzing related information to ensure adherence to environmental and social best practices, as well as regulatory requirements. Update control tools to maintain an accurate historical record of information, supporting more informed decision-making. **Conditions and Environmental Programs:** Ensure compliance with conditions and environmental programs at operational units—and thereby maintain environmental authorizations—by monitoring schedules, coordinating field monitoring and program implementation with plant teams and suppliers, conducting field inspections, reviewing studies, and preparing field reports. **Stakeholder Engagement:** Maintain relationships with stakeholders—including but not limited to plant employees, contractors, public agency representatives, and local communities—through direct contact and timely dissemination of relevant information, aiming to build and sustain transparent, trust-based relationships that enhance the organization’s reputation and public image. **Administrative Socio-Environmental Management:** Support the socio-environmental area’s budgetary management by planning, conducting monthly monitoring, and executing budgets as scheduled, with justifications provided in case of deviations. **Contract / Third-Party Management:** Arrange consultancy services when required, including drafting Terms of Reference (TR), assisting in supplier identification, evaluating technical proposals and other relevant documents to ensure a coherent, transparent, and appropriate procurement process. Manage activities performed by contracted third parties through planning and oversight aligned with the agreed scope of work, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and strategic objectives. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree completed in Environmental Engineering, Biology, Geography, Forestry Engineering, or related fields; * Field-based environmental management experience; * Risk mapping; * Environmental legislation; * Physical, biotic, anthropogenic, and archaeological environments; * Environmental management in licensing processes for operational power plants; * Management systems; * Contract management; * Budgeting; * Knowledge of geoprocessing; * Residency in Cataguases/Itamarati de Minas or nearby region; * Valid Brazilian driver’s license (Class B) Employment type: Permanent (CLT) Compensation: R$5.050,07 per month Benefits: * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Life insurance * Meal allowance * Food voucher Selection questions: * What is your expected salary? * Do you reside in Itamarati de Minas or Cataguases - MG? * What is your educational background?
