**Responsibilities and duties**
* Maintain databases across the company’s various operational environments to ensure optimal information storage architecture;
* Execute operational and usage procedures for Database Management Systems (DBMS), ensuring full availability of database management systems;
* Implement new DBMS technologies aligned with business needs to optimize information storage and usage structures;
* Implement database access security procedures in accordance with the company’s security policy to ensure proper use of information;
* Implement recovery procedures (backup, recovery, and restart) in case of system failures to guarantee physical and logical database integrity and data availability;
* Monitor the environment to optimize application, database, and DBMS performance; provide support in identifying and resolving database-related issues to ensure optimal operational environment performance and rapid identification and resolution of potential problems;
* Prepare and maintain documentation for services supported by the DBMS, following the company’s established standards;
* Execute testing procedures for newly deployed or maintenance-affected software prior to replacing production versions, to control impact on existing routines;
* Support IT technicians and assistants in problem resolution and train them to perform first-level support activities.
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields;
* 5–10 years of proven experience in ITSM / IT Service Management;
* Demonstrated experience with MongoDB and Redis;
* Basic English proficiency;
* MongoDB and/or Redis certifications (desirable).

* Installation, configuration, upgrade, and patching;

* Backup and restore;
* Performance tuning;
* Hardening;
* Automation and integration.
