We are seeking a **Control Room Shaft Operations Technician**, responsible for safely, precisely, and operationally compliantly operating underground mine hoists and auxiliary systems, ensuring the safe transport of personnel and materials, performing preventive tests, and continuously monitoring critical operational equipment.

**Responsibilities and duties**
* Hoist Operation: Operate the ore hoist (skip) and service hoist (cage), strictly adhering to pre-operation checks, protection tests (over-wind, under-wind, overspeed, brake, etc.), and communication protocols with the underground.
* Personnel Transport: Conduct personnel and material transport via cage according to capacity limits, signaling rules, and authorizations recorded in the logbook.
* Auxiliary Systems: Operate and monitor drainage pumps, main fans, and compressed air compressors, taking preventive action in response to deviations in pressure, flow, vibration, or temperature.
* Safety Testing: Perform daily safety and functionality tests before releasing equipment for operation, recording results in forms and/or digital systems.
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Technical course in Electromechanics or related fields.
* Driver’s license Category "B".
* Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* Ability to maintain focus, vigilance, and concentration over extended periods in the control room.
* Strict adherence to operational procedures, checklists, and established standards, with low tolerance for deviations.
* Objective, clear, and standardized radio communication, even under operational pressure.
* Ability to rapidly read operational variables, identify trends, and prioritize actions when deviations occur.
* Integrated and collaborative work with supervision, maintenance, mine operations, and SSMA.
* Emotional stability in highly critical situations, with capacity for decision-making under pressure and strict compliance with emergency protocols.
* Must be available to reside in the district of Pilar, municipality of Jaguarari, BA.
