A company that values innovation and continuously pursues excellence **JOB DESCRIPTION:** Responsible for assisting in the assembly of gearmotors and gearboxes; performing leak and run-in tests; coupling motors; operating mechanical lathes; recording assembly data; handling materials; and other similar activities. **Responsibilities and Duties** Assist in assembling gearmotors and gearboxes by reviewing assembly orders and work instructions, verifying parts, codes, technical drawings, shaft sides, oil levels, input/output orientations, using required tools and equipment to carry out assembly tasks, comply with quality standards, and meet established targets. Perform/assist in leak testing by checking assembly checklists, using compressed air and/or water tanks, identifying and documenting leaks and/or performing oil filling, to forward units to technical support and/or run-in testing. Perform/assist in run-in testing by reviewing assembly orders, verifying measurements, nameplates, accessories, outputs, and gearbox positioning, using jigs and coupling motors, adjusting and executing tests, identifying and recording inconsistencies, to forward units to subsequent processes and/or rework. Carry out motor coupling by verifying assembly orders, gearboxes, motors, and junction box positions, using jigs and completing the process, then making units available to the painting department. Assist in operating mechanical lathes, performing part adjustments to meet assembly team requirements. Record assembly data, logging name, date, quantities, productive and non-productive time, rejected parts and reasons, to provide information for statistical control of the assembly process. Handle materials using manual carts, hoists, electric pallet trucks, and/or overhead cranes. Keep immediate supervisor informed about activity progress, requesting machine maintenance, clarifying doubts, and/or suggesting corrective actions for identified issues. Dispose of waste correctly according to internal procedures. Comply with company, quality, and occupational safety rules and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized workplace, as well as used machines and/or equipment.
