Field Service Technician (Cooling) - Fortaleza/CE

Job Description: * Provide technical consulting services at the customer's site, as well as by phone/remotely. * Document all information related to activities performed, pending items, requests, and parts for each service provided on-site or remotely. * Properly document, label, and package all defective parts used in repairs for appropriate disposal. * Use official digital tools and resources developed exclusively for the field service team (FSR). * Train Schneider Electric customers on basic operations of equipment installed on-site. * Transparently inform customers of defects and improvements that could compromise equipment or sites, thereby safeguarding the availability of customers' Critical Services as well as Schneider Electric. * Recommend to customers various opportunities to optimize their installed base and create business opportunities for Schneider Electric. * Work with customers, subcontractors, other team members, sales partners, technical support, and management to resolve escalated issues. * Evaluate and oversee the quality and best practices in installations and services provided by customer subcontractors and by Schneider Electric. * Must comply with all technical, internal, legal, and cybersecurity standards, policies, best practices, procedures, and safety requirements. * Perform all activities with excellence aiming to deliver a differentiated customer experience and promote Schneider Electric. * Participate in and lead proactive efforts for the benefit of the work team to achieve departmental and company goals. * Obtain approval in trainings, courses, and recertifications required for the position. (External) Brazilian Portuguese Qualifications: **Requirements:** * Solid knowledge of HVAC principles, especially in refrigeration, and basic knowledge of electrical systems and automation. * Minimum of 3 years of experience as a field technician working with HVAC systems, critical solutions, and precision cooling. * Must be able to meet demands with general guidance while respecting fundamental job objectives. Work with a certain level of independence from other team members. * Interpret manuals and procedures in English to enable diagnostics and service execution. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. * Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical form, electrical schematics, technical drawings, or diagrams, and deal with multiple abstract and concrete variables. * Skill in identifying and determining the root cause of failures, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. * Proficiency in using personal computers, including email, record keeping, routine database activities, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphs. * Availability for national and international travel (up to 75% of working hours) and on-call shifts. * Active CREA/CRT registration. * Intermediate English (reading documents and writing reports in English). * Spanish is desirable. * Valid driver's license category B. **Education:** * Technical degree in Refrigeration, Electromechanics, Electroelectronics, Mechatronics, or related fields. * Proven experience in critical refrigeration, field technical services for HVAC systems, and precision cooling. * Certifications, training, and higher education in HVAC and critical systems are a plus. **Tell us more about you!
