Join us in building the future! **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Development of OSGi Services and Components with expertise in Declarative Services (DS) annotations * Management of Bundle lifecycle (Activate, Deactivate, Modified) and resolution of OSGi dependency conflicts/circularity * Creation and consumption of OSGi configurations via metatypes (OCD) * Development of Sling Models with mastery of native injections (@ValueMapValue, @ChildResource, etc.) and exposure as JSON via Sling Model Exporters * Creation of Sling Servlets bound by Resource Type and Path * Writing optimized queries in JCR-SQL2 and using the QueryBuilder API * Creation and optimization of Oak indexes (Lucene/Property) to eliminate Traversal Warnings * Development of Event Listeners to monitor node changes in JCR * Creation of asynchronous routines via Sling Jobs (Job Consumers/Executors) * Implementation of resilient HTTP clients (timeouts, retries) and custom Workflow Process Steps in Java * Writing unit tests with JUnit 5 \+ Mockito \+ AEM Mocks (wcm.io)Mandatory — Frontend Authoring * HTML markup development using HTL (Sightly), including XSS protection via native contexts * HTL backend integration via Use-API * Component creation using Proxy Pattern over AEM Core Components — Internal-use document; not for external recruitment vendors * Structuring and managing Client Libraries (categories, embed, dependencies, CSS/JS minification/concatenation) * Development of Touch UI Dialogs (Coral 3\), Design Dialogs (Policies), and custom validations via Granite UI/JavaScript * Rendering and management of Experience FragmentsMandatory — Headless SPA * Modeling Content Fragment Models and instantiating Content Fragments * Configuring AEM GraphQL API endpoints and writing optimized Persisted Queries * Configuring the AEM SPA Editor with React or Angular component mapping (@adobe/aem-react-editable-components) * Ensuring correct SPA routing within the AEM ecosystemMandatory — Tooling & Build * Managing dependencies in the AEM Maven Archetype and navigating between modules (core, ui.apps, ui.content, ui.config) * Code/JCR synchronization via FileVault (vlt) and AEM Repo Tool / VSCode AEM Sync * Local configuration and execution of the AEM Dispatcher SDK via Docker (Apache Rewrite Rules \+ cache rules) * Diagnostics via Apache Felix Web Console: stuck packages, missing dependencies, NullPointerExceptions, and error.log analysisDesirable * Adobe Certified Expert — AEM Sites Developer or AEM Architect certification * Experience integrating Adobe Target and/or Adobe Analytics with AEM * Knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) / Real-Time CDP * CI/CD practices applied to AEM projects (pipelines using Cloud Manager or equivalent) * Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) * Familiarity with observability tools (New Relic, Datadog) in AEM environments * Knowledge of digital accessibility (WCAG 2\.1/ARIA) applied to AEM components **Contract Type:** Independent Contractor (PJ) or Cooperative **Working Hours:** 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:12 PM to 6:00 PM 100% remote
