





Education The candidate must hold a bachelor's and master's degree in technological fields, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Computer Science or related areas, and be regularly enrolled in a doctoral program in related fields, with emphasis on system interoperability, semantic technologies, artificial intelligence, embedded systems or data communication applied to digital agriculture. Experience The candidate must have solid experience in R&D projects, participation in scientific publications (conferences and journals), and involvement in research groups. Experience in laboratory experimentation and/or computational simulation of complex systems (ROS/ROS2, MATLAB/Simulink or equivalents) is required. Experience in supervising undergraduate research or master's students will be considered a plus. Knowledge The fellow must be proficient in C\+\+ and Python programming languages, as well as familiar with communication protocols used in embedded systems and IoT, such as MQTT, Modbus, OPC UA, DDS, LoRa, Wi\-Fi and Bluetooth. Advanced knowledge in interoperability, semantic modeling, ontology usage, Digital Twins development and integration of heterogeneous data is expected. Experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to agriculture is also desirable. Requirements / Competencies The candidate must demonstrate ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and autonomy in conducting research activities. Organization, proactivity and scientific communication skills in Portuguese and English are required. Continuous learning capability in emerging technologies and active contribution to high-impact scientific publications are expected. Familiarity with code versioning tools (Git/GitHub) and document preparation tools such as LaTeX and Overleaf is required. Activities to be performed The fellow will participate in different stages of the project, carrying out advanced research and technological development activities. Key responsibilities include: Conducting systematic literature reviews on interoperability and Digital Twins; Proposing and implementing semantic models and integration architectures; Developing software in C\+\+ and Python for embedded systems integration, data analysis and simulation; Performing laboratory experiments and prototype validation; Preparing technical reports, scientific articles and patents; Actively participating in project deliverables coordination and interaction with institutional partners Work Location São Leopoldo
