Logistics Analyst

Description

JOB MISSION Analyze logistics data and processes to generate strategic insights, drive continuous improvement, standardize procedures, and ensure operational efficiency in receiving, inventory management, shipping, and customer service, thereby supporting decision-making and enhancing overall supply chain performance. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1\. Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs such as OTIF, inventory accuracy, lead time, inventory turnover, service level, and productivity. 2\. Prepare managerial reports and performance dashboards, transforming data into actionable insights for management. 3\. Identify deviations, trends, and opportunities for improvement in KPIs. 4\. Map, review, and standardize logistics processes, developing work instructions and operational workflows. 5\. Track implementation of continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, waste elimination, and operational efficiency enhancement. 6\. Control inventory levels and support scheduling of rotating and periodic inventories, ensuring accuracy. 7\. Analyze inventory discrepancies and assist in identifying root causes and solutions. 8\. Plan and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations, evaluating process performance. 9\. Negotiate timelines, terms, and improvements with carriers and logistics providers. 10\. Monitor orders, deliveries, and SLAs, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards. Requirements and Qualifications 1\. Advanced Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, charts). 2\. ERP system and BI tool knowledge (Power BI is a plus). 3\. Ability to interpret and develop logistics KPIs. 4\. Familiarity with production control (PCP), inventory management, and supply chain concepts. 5\. Knowledge of process mapping and standardization. 6\. Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (PDCA, Kaizen, Lean). 7\. Basic understanding of transportation and distribution operations. Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Production Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
