Handling of equipment and waste management JOB: SANITATION ASSISTANT (CD COLOMBO/PR) We are hiring professionals to maintain cleaning and sanitization of our logistics facility in **Colombo/PR**. Your Responsibilities: * **Environmental Sanitization:** Perform cleaning and sanitization of storage areas, cold rooms, and common areas of the distribution center. * **Equipment Handling:** Operate floor scrubbers, high-pressure hoses, and industrial cleaning chemicals. * **Waste Management:** Proper collection and disposal of logistics waste (plastics, cardboard, etc). * **Food Safety:** Ensure the environment is free from contamination, complying with Good Manufacturing/Storage Practices. Requirements: * Completed elementary education. * Prior experience in industrial cleaning, general services, or sanitation in slaughterhouses/distribution centers is a plus. * Physical stamina for dynamic work environments and, occasionally, climate-controlled areas. * Residency in **Colombo** or easy access to the region. * Flexible availability for shift work.
