




Job Summary: Professionals required to handle baggage and cargo at airports, ensuring safety and efficiency of ground operations, with attention to detail and interpersonal communication. Key Responsibilities: 1. Monitoring aircraft and baggage/cargo labels 2. Handling and segregation of baggage and cargo 3. Performing aircraft marshalling and aircraft handling Description: * Completed high school education; * Strong interpersonal communication skills; * Analytical ability in assessing situations; * Stress tolerance; Physical requirements include broad and fine motor coordination, dexterity, articulation of upper and lower limbs, bipedal posture for performing duties, trunk rotation and flexion, physical effort, and walking throughout the entire operational area. Sensory requirements include visual acuity for moving baggage from conveyor belts to transport equipment, pavement navigation, loading/unloading aircraft with luggage and cargo, signaling around the flight being serviced, inspecting and scanning the floor for dropped objects, and auditory perception to identify audible signals from equipment and machinery on the tarmac. Neuropsychological requirements include attention, concentration, organizational skills, data interpretation, and initiative in resolving causal situations. * Monitor aircraft during arrivals and departures; * Verify and monitor baggage and cargo labels; * Place and remove wheel chocks and cones on aircraft according to the Client's Manual or dnata's MGO; * Through reading baggage and cargo identification labels (with or without technological assistance), segregate items in airport sorting areas to ensure loading onto storage devices (carts and/or ULDs) for correct flights; * Load baggage and cargo into aircraft holds following procedures and standards outlined in the MGO, including special handling instructions (fragile, dangerous, live animals, perishable items); * Through reading volume identification labels, unload baggage and cargo, placing them at designated locations (baggage reclaim carousels); * Segregate baggage and cargo during aircraft unloading to facilitate flight connections by reading volume identification labels; * Inspect and supervise baggage and cargo packaging to verify suitability for transport, thereby ensuring flight safety and handler safety; * Correctly handle and properly allocate baggage and cargo within aircraft holds, observing internal restraint and hold height safety limits; * Unload wheelchairs or baby strollers, placing them at designated locations; * Perform marshalling of equipment during coupling procedures with aircraft to prevent collisions with the fuselage; * Handle aircraft within established timeframes for each service type and airport classification; * Conduct checklists on non-motorized equipment to ensure operational safety and report equipment requiring repairs to the GSE Technical maintenance team; * Report any equipment irregularities occurring during operations to supervisors. 2511010202241568572
