Work at a civil construction company A civil construction company located in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre is seeking a Procurement Assistant. REQUIREMENTS Currently enrolled in or graduated from a Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields; Relevant work experience; Proficiency in Excel; Organizational skills and attention to detail; Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team; KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the buyer in departmental activities, including: Preparing reports and spreadsheets for negotiations; researching the supplier market for products and services to identify optimal purchasing opportunities; Negotiating with suppliers; issuing purchase orders; monitoring orders to ensure on-time delivery; updating merchandise price lists with suppliers and internally communicating this information to relevant departments; registering new suppliers for inquiries and quotations as needed; and other duties pertinent to the role.
