**Responsibilities and Duties** **Summary Description:**
Execute necessary actions to maintain and continuously improve the Occupational Safety Management System, monitoring working conditions and identifying adverse situations through inspections and systematic application of legislation and corporate procedures, thereby safeguarding employees’ health and physical integrity, as well as promoting awareness for preventive action on related topics.
**Detailed Description:**
* Monitor compliance with occupational safety laws, overseeing work areas/sites, assessing behaviors and risk agents, and guiding employees toward appropriate conduct.
* Prepare, organize, and deliver training sessions, as well as conduct Daily Safety Talks (DDS), Brigade Meetings, and others as needed.
* Evaluate safety documentation from suppliers accessing company premises, verifying its suitability to environmental operating conditions, to avoid governmental penalties and ensure employee safety.
* Monitor and investigate all occupational incidents/accidents—visiting the site, verifying conditions, analyzing the incident collectively, preparing reports, and recommending appropriate preventive and control measures.
* Carry out activities required to comply with occupational safety legislation per the established plan, supporting CIPA processes, simulation drills, mandatory training, and other initiatives, while inspecting safety and fire-fighting equipment to confirm their proper condition and functionality.
* Monitor assessments of physical, chemical, biological, mechanical, and ergonomic agents across facilities by visiting work areas, to comply with legislation and ensure employee safety.
* Execute activities outlined in the Risk Management Plan (PGR) and other specific programs of the area.
* Support management in handling critical unit-level processes, assisting in developing training maps, risk management, operational procedures, and others, focusing on health and safety aspects.
* Perform assigned duties according to the received plan, under supervision and/or support from more technically proficient professionals or immediate supervisors—even for occasional guidance or problem resolution. Does not yet demonstrate full proficiency across all processes, operations, or equipment within the area or full productivity levels.
* Support senior professionals in area-specific processes, leveraging their experience for self-development.
* Participate in implementing departmental work plans and procedures, executing and monitoring necessary technical actions to achieve established objectives and goals.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Basic Requirements:**
* Completed Technical Education in Occupational Safety;
* Experience managing SSMA requirements and NRs (Normas Regulamentadoras);
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
