Job Summary: An experienced professional in operating articulating cranes, responsible for the safe lifting and handling of loads in accordance with rigging plans and safety regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Operation of articulating cranes and cargo handling 2. Inspection and rigging of lifting components and accessories 3. Interpretation of rigging plans **REQUIREMENTS** \*\*\*Minimum 2 years of experience operating articulating cranes.\*\*\* * Drive and operate articulating cranes, manipulating lifting and load-handling mechanisms. * Isolate the operation area, measure the operating radius, adjust wire ropes, assemble the boom, counterweights, and other equipment attachments, and perform equipment leveling. * Inspect lifting accessories and rigging components; inspect steel cables / accessories; inspect lifting materials such as hooks, cables, shackles, eye bolts, slings, etc. * Interpret rigging plans as well as lifting accessory reference tables. * Monitor instrument panels and operate the crane effectively and safely, possessing knowledge of the equipment's basic mechanisms. * Perform component rigging. * Request the load weight from the client and verify its accuracy against the instrument panel readings. * Driver's license categories C, D, or E "We value equal opportunity and encourage applications from people with disabilities (PCDs) and individuals from diverse cultural, social, and gender backgrounds."
