Conducting technical visits and follow-up with producers Field Assistant Position Description We are seeking a Field Assistant to support activities related to technical visits to producers, monitoring the development of acerola crops, and advising producers on conventional or organic cultivation practices. Responsibilities 1\. Conduct weekly technical visits to producers within your logistics area. 2\. Execute all technical procedures outlined in the checklist within the work application during visits. 3\. Advise producers on conventional or organic cultivation practices, including fertilization, soil and leaf analysis, cultural practices, good agricultural practices (GAP), harvesting, and quality control. 4\. Require and advise on vegetative barriers to eliminate the risk of pesticide contamination from other crops. 5\. Monitor pests and diseases and advise producers on control measures. 6\. Communicate company-issued notices and changes to producers. 7\. Participate in social activities promoted by the company for producers. 8\. Forecast weekly and monthly raw material intake per producer based on harvest conditions. 9\. Register new producers and complete their onboarding checklist. 10\. Conduct the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) checklist semiannually. 11\. Receive producers’ in-person visits at the company premises. Specifications * Technical education in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related fields * Solid experience in the field * Specific knowledge: Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), pest and disease management, and basic Microsoft Office skills * Residency in Lagoa Grande - PE or nearby region * Valid driver's license and personal motorcycle required * Willingness to travel
