How about becoming part of this energy? \#VemSerMoura! . **Responsibilities and Duties** Technical Specialization * Develop in-depth technical expertise in automotive battery technologies, with focus on lead-acid batteries; * Contribute to technological advancement and continuous product improvement; * Support the definition of technical standards, development methodologies, and engineering best practices; * Interface with Partners and Suppliers; * Interact with strategic partners and domestic and international suppliers involved in solution development; * Evaluate technical solutions, components, and technologies provided by external partners; * Participate in technical discussions and global alignment meetings, using English as the communication language; * Innovation and Technology; * Monitor technological trends related to energy storage systems and vehicle electrification; * Contribute to innovation initiatives and the development of new solutions for electrified mobility. Product Development: * Participate in the development of batteries for automotive applications in hybrid and electric vehicles; * Define technical requirements and support battery system sizing according to customer and OEM requirements; * Conduct engineering activities related to product development, validation, and improvement; * Analyze battery system performance, reliability, and durability, proposing technical improvements; * Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and development records; * Interface with Customers and OEMs; * Serve as the technical interface with customers and OEM engineering teams during new project development; * Participate in technical meetings, project reviews, and requirement discussions with customers; * Support resolution of technical issues and field or validation test failure analysis. **Requirements and Qualifications** ***What We Seek?*** ***Education:*** * Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. ***Desired Knowledge:*** * Fundamentals of battery technology, preferably lead-acid batteries (AGM, EFB, VRLA); * Basic knowledge of automotive battery systems and their integration into vehicles; * Familiarity with automotive electrical architectures (12V, 48V and/or high voltage); * Ability to analyze battery test and performance data; * Fluent English for technical communication with international partners and suppliers. ***You Stand Out If You Have:*** * Experience in battery product or process development; * Knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS) or battery monitoring; * Experience with testing, validation, or failure analysis of automotive batteries; * Experience working on projects with international suppliers or partners; * Knowledge of automotive standards and requirements for battery systems. **Additional Information** ***What We Offer?*** In our Moura way of being, we believe people are the energy that drives the future.
