The **Orthopedic Immobilization Technician** plays a fundamental role in the hospital environment, especially in emergency, urgent care, and orthopedic departments. Their work directly contributes to the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal injuries. **Salary:** R$2\.815,66 **Work Schedule:** 180h (12x36\) **Modality:** In-person **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct initial assessments to verify patient integrity prior to immobilization, considering factors such as blood circulation and sensory perception in affected limbs, ensuring procedural effectiveness; * Perform immobilization of fractures, dislocations, and other bone or joint injuries using materials such as plaster casts, splints, bandages, and other devices, in accordance with medical instructions, to ensure patient recovery; * Monitor fracture and immobilization progression, making necessary adjustments according to treatment development and the patient’s clinical signs, and promptly informing physicians of any relevant changes to prevent patient harm; * Remove plaster casts, splints, and other immobilization devices using appropriate equipment and under professional supervision, ensuring patient comfort and safety; * Identify signs of complications—such as circulatory, neurovascular, or infectious issues—and take necessary measures to prevent or rapidly treat them, always communicating with the medical team; * Maintain the immobilization room, equipment, and supplies clean, organized, and in proper working condition, including inventory control and timely restocking requests; * Record information regarding performed immobilizations, document clinical changes (e.g., pain, edema, or circulatory alterations), and communicate these observations to the medical and nursing teams; * Perform other duties inherent to the position. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical course in Orthopedic Immobilization; * Valid registration with the Professional Council; * Basic Microsoft Office package; * Hospital experience preferred. **Additional Benefits** * Transportation allowance; * Cafeteria; * Pharmacy benefit plan; * Gym membership benefit plan; * SESC benefits; * DayOff.
