Job Summary:
A professional responsible for planning, producing, and serving customers in the meat department, ensuring product quality, inventory control, and hygiene.

Responsibilities and Duties:
* Participate in the planning and production of the department according to the sales demand for each product, maintaining the defined inventory mix from store opening to closing;
* Produce meat department food items according to the required quantity assessment versus the highest-turnover items, weigh manufactured products, and place them on the sales counter, keeping them fully stocked and available for customers according to the assessed quantity;
* Respond to all customer requests, always fulfilling specifications for each order—including specialty, processing type (ground, steak, or cut), and requested quantity;
* Trim cuts as needed, performing daily menu-based pre-preparation using appropriate equipment and techniques;
* Inspect received meat cuts to verify compliance with purchase orders regarding quality and quantity;
* Supervise an Assistant’s work in receiving and storing meat cuts, performing simple cuts, serving customers, and cleaning the area;
* Package meats individually, manually or using vacuum packaging machines, and place them on trays for customers;
* Continuously monitor the quality of meats displayed on the counter, immediately reporting any abnormalities to the meat department supervisor;
* Contribute to reducing departmental costs—whether through raw material waste or excessive production—by observing good product handling practices;
* Produce sufficient quantities to avoid stockouts in the sales area, increasing production volume for promotional items;
* Verify product expiration dates to confirm validity periods of items displayed in the sales area, removing any expired items from display;
* Monitor opened raw materials, ensuring proper labeling with original product expiry date, opening date, and number of days for use;
* Report irregularities found in merchandise or equipment, escalating issues appropriately to prevent product deterioration;
* Maintain order and hygiene in the workplace and department storage area, washing counters, utensils, etc., as needed;
* Ensure customer satisfaction and service quality by: prompt service; courteous interaction; adherence to internal policies; personal cleanliness; clear and accurate communication;
* Operate equipment correctly to prevent accidents;
* Keep the department clean and organized per company and sanitary surveillance standards;
* Perform related duties as assigned by immediate or functional supervisor.
Compensation: R$2.000,00 - R$2.272,00 per month
