Apply ergonomic principles to optimize working conditions, ensuring that the environment, equipment, and tasks are designed in accordance with workers’ capabilities and limitations, thereby promoting safety, comfort, and efficiency. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Evaluate workplace layouts to identify ergonomic risks. * Conduct ergonomic risk assessment and management. * Observe and analyze worker behavior during tasks, identifying risk factors such as awkward postures, repetitive motions, physical and mental overload. * Prepare technical reports and documentation. * Recommend adjustments to furniture, equipment, and tools to better meet workers’ needs. * Propose environmental modifications—such as lighting, ventilation, and temperature—to optimize comfort and reduce physical and mental stress. * Develop and deliver training and capacity-building programs. * Educate workers on the importance of breaks, stretching, and injury prevention techniques. * Implement strategies to prevent musculoskeletal disorders caused by awkward postures or repetitive motions. * Monitor worker health and recommend improvements to prevent work-related issues. * Prepare technical reports and documentation. * Identify risk factors related to stress, time pressure, mental workload, and working conditions that may affect employee well-being. * Propose strategies to improve organizational climate and reduce workplace stress. * Advise on the implementation of ergonomics programs to enhance worker productivity and health, while reducing costs associated with absences and accidents. * Design, develop, and execute ergonomics or OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) promotion projects and programs, identifying and proposing solutions. * Provide technical support for developing customized solutions tailored to industrial clients within the specialist’s area of expertise. * Represent the contracting party, as required, in discussions and meetings with representative bodies, by gathering requested data and information. * Prepare area-specific reports to support decision-making. * Provide technical support to management and other departments, delivering specialized guidance and solutions related to ergonomics and occupational safety. * Participate in developing service proposals aligned with client needs and demands. * Perform other duties compatible with this role. **Requirements and Qualifications** **[Revised] Job Requirements** **(All requirements must be clearly stated in the candidate’s resume)** * Completed undergraduate degree in **Physical Therapy**, with a **completed specialization in Ergonomics**, and/or completed undergraduate degree in **Physical Education**, with a **completed specialization in Ergonomics**; * Driver’s license, Category B; * Availability to travel and work on weekends; * Position based in **Goiânia - GO.** **Knowledge and/or Experience** * Labor legislation; * Occupational health; * Regulatory Standards for Safety and Ergonomics, especially NR-17 and NR-06; * Occupational Risk Management (ORM) and PGR (Risk Assessment Program), per NR-01; * Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. **Additional Information** **Selection Process Identification Number:** * **11080012/2026 SESI Central de SST** **Selection Process Stages:** * Stage – Resume Review * Stage – Manager Evaluation * Stage – HR Evaluation * **GERHC reserves the right to include or omit selection stages at its discretion.** **Employment Details:** * **Work Location:** **SESI Central de SST - Av.
