Maintenance Assistant

Description

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting in preventive and corrective maintenance activities on equipment and facilities. This professional works under supervision, performing support and assistance tasks for technicians and engineers in the maintenance area. * Assist in carrying out preventive maintenance activities on equipment and facilities. * Replace damaged parts and components, following instructions from responsible technicians. * Assist in identifying failures and defects in equipment, reporting findings to the technical team. * Perform cleaning and organization of work areas and equipment used in maintenance. * Support the execution of tests and trials on equipment, verifying proper operation. * Participate in training and capacity-building programs to enhance technical knowledge in the maintenance field. * Comply with safety regulations and internal company procedures to ensure the physical integrity of employees and preservation of equipment. * Maintain records of performed activities by completing maintenance control reports and spreadsheets. * Collaborate with the maintenance team in identifying opportunities for improvement in adopted processes and procedures.
