You will work closely with business stakeholders and have the autonomy to propose new ideas and solutions. You’ll enjoy freedom to research and implement new programming languages, development patterns, and methodologies. Our team is responsible for regulatory and economic capital management solutions — a highly relevant topic today that ensures the stability of a financial institution. Our scope includes: RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets) for market and credit risk, IRRBB (Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book – sensitivity to interest rate changes in the banking portfolio), FRTB (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book – a new set of Basel III standards), liquidity risk (LCR and NSFR), funding control, IPV (Independent Price Verification) — all core topics for an investment bank. **Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** * Designing and automating processes related to regulatory capital and risk management (Market, Credit, and Liquidity) within the bank’s proprietary system; * Learning and contributing to a solution built entirely in-house at BTG, encouraged to deeply understand each topic and product we address together with end users; * Maintaining close collaboration with business units and other IT teams across the BTG Pactual Group; * Ensuring high platform availability by designing and enhancing deployment processes; * Developing software following agile methodologies and applying object-oriented principles and clean code practices. **What We Expect From You:** * Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in engineering, computer science, exact sciences, or related fields; * Solid foundation in mathematics and programming; interest in the financial markets (e.g., market operations, financial products, pricing, and risk); * Eagerness to learn new programming languages and technologies; knowledge of object-oriented programming, front-end development, design patterns, and Cloud (AWS); * Desired experience with technologies: .NET Core/Framework, C#, Kubernetes, AWS EC2, RabbitMQ or another messaging service, SQL Server/PostgreSQL. * Bonus points for experience in banking regulation (Basel), market risk knowledge, financial products (interest rates, FX, equities, commodities), or strong willingness to learn; * All seniority levels welcome: Junior, Mid-level, and Senior; * Intermediate English proficiency; **Benefits:** * Profit Sharing Plan (PLR); * Meal and Food Allowance; * Health Insurance; * Dental Insurance; * Childcare/Babysitter Assistance; * Transportation Voucher; * WellHub; * TotalPass; * Employee Assistance Program (EAP); * Optional plans such as Private Pension and Life Insurance; * Pharmacy Discount; * Nutrition Program; * Pregnancy Program; * Extended Maternity and Paternity Leave – Certified Citizen Company.
