Job Summary: A professional responsible for welding metal parts and structures, preparing materials, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring weld quality while working in a team and adhering to safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Perform welding using MIG or shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) processes 2. Interpret and follow technical drawings to execute welds 3. Maintain tools and the workplace organized and safe * Perform welding on metal parts and structures using MIG or shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) processes as required by the project. * Prepare and position materials and parts prior to welding, ensuring proper alignment and measurements. * Interpret and follow technical drawings and project specifications to execute welds. * Perform cutting, grinding, and finishing of welded parts to ensure quality and final appearance. * Inspect welds and parts to verify strength, alignment, and compliance with technical standards. * Maintain tools, equipment, and the workplace organized and in safe condition. * Collaborate with assemblers and assistants to assemble structures at construction sites. * Strictly adhere to occupational safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
