These tasks may include working in deboning rooms, slaughter areas, packaging, shipping, and sanitation, following safety, quality, integrity, and good manufacturing practices. * **Supporting the production process:** * Sort materials, inputs, and finished products, as well as assist in product transfer. * **Operating equipment:** * Operate cutting machines, packaging machines, and other production equipment when properly qualified (trained) and authorized by the company. * **Cleaning and sanitization:** * Maintain workplace organization, clean and sanitize equipment and production areas. * **Quality control:** * Inspect finished products and packaging, maintaining quality control during production. * **Packaging:** * Package products using plastic film, label them, and direct them onto production conveyors. * **Cutting and preparation:** * Perform general cutting tasks, remove viscera and organs, clean carcasses, and trim excess fat. * **Safety and hygiene:** * Follow occupational health and safety rules and procedures.
