Join Nexa and be part of a mining company that moves with the world! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Carry out activities in accordance with Safety, Health and Environment procedures to achieve Zero Accidents * Ensure all area activities are developed in compliance with company policies and standards * Foster an organizational culture aligned with guiding principles and values focused on participation, innovation, quality, and appreciation of human resources * Systematically monitor national and international contexts, identifying trends and opportunities that support maintaining/increasing the competitiveness of Nexa’s products and by-products — Três Marias Unit * Develop and maintain an engaged and motivated team, recognizing merit and promoting and encouraging continuous pursuit of goals for the actions and projects under management * Promote team training and capability alignment * Plan, manage and monitor area indicators and costs * Participate in the five-year strategic planning for the Zinc Business, providing technical support in identifying and discussing expansion and production projects for the Três Marias Unit * Manage and ensure implementation of goals, objectives, policies and guidelines cascaded by the Unit General Manager to your area of responsibility * Manage and monitor routine operational/production results for neutral solution, effluent treatment, residual zinc recovery and tailings dam; develop conceptual projects for production improvements and expansions * Conduct benchmarking against major competitors in Nexa’s — Três Marias Unit operating segment * Respond to inquiries from the Board of Directors, Corporate Office, General Management and other Management areas regarding Hydrometallurgy UGB activities **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related fields * Postgraduate degree in Business Management, Project Management or similar disciplines * Proven experience and solid knowledge in non-ferrous metal production, hydrometallurgical systems and management of multidisciplinary teams * Fluent English and intermediate Spanish preferred **Additional Information** ***Nexa believes in fostering a plural environment where everyone feels comfortable and empowered to be themselves.*** We are one of the world’s largest zinc producers!
