TECHNOLOGY – SÃO PAULO / SP **About the role:** The Analytics Engineer Tech Lead will serve as the technical and leadership focal point for the Analytics Engineering team. This professional will be responsible for defining best practices, ensuring the quality and performance of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, and leading the development of data models and reports in Power BI (PBI). Fluency in English is essential to represent the team in status meetings with global teams. **Key Responsibilities:** **Technical Leadership and Best Practices:** * Define, document, and promote engineering best practices and standards for data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and Power BI dashboard creation. * Ensure scalable architecture and data quality for analytical use. * Lead code reviews and data model reviews to maintain consistency and efficiency. **People Management and Team Development:** * Act as mentor and technical focal point for the team, resolving complex technical questions and providing daily support in PBI development and data engineering. * Conduct performance evaluations of team members (1:1s, constructive feedback). * Foster continuous development of both technical and soft skills across the team. **Project Management and Oversight:** * Oversee the full analytics project lifecycle—from conception through implementation. * Ensure projects align with business objectives and are delivered on time and within scope. **Global Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:** * Represent the team in status meetings and strategic discussions with Product, Engineering, or Global Leadership teams. * Clearly communicate project progress, challenges, and risks to international stakeholders. **Language Requirements:** **English Fluency:** Mandatory. Ability to communicate fluently, both verbally and in writing, to interact with and represent the team in a global environment. **Essential Requirements:** * **Proven Experience:** Significant experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on technical leadership. * **Power BI (PBI):** In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience building complex data models, advanced DAX measures, performance optimization, and visualization best practices in Power BI. * **Data Modeling:** Strong expertise in dimensional modeling techniques (Kimball), data warehousing, and concepts such as data mesh or data fabric. * **SQL:** Proficiency in SQL for querying and optimizing analytical databases (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.). **Additional Information:** * Location: São Paulo – SP; * Work model: 100% remote. **Interested in this opportunity?
