Fabricate and adjust components for molds and machines. Interpret technical drawings and measurements. Perform cuts, drilling, threading, and finishing on parts. Restore worn or damaged parts. Adjust and align mechanical components. Measure parts using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Assist in the maintenance of plastic injection molds. Control the quality of produced parts. Keep machines and tools organized. Follow workplace safety regulations. Avoid material waste during machining. Previous experience as a Milling Machine Operator, Lathe Operator, Machining Mechanic, or Mechanical Fitter may indicate suitability for some activities of this position. High school diploma required.
