Technical Solution Development **About the Team:** * The Landing Gear and Component Manufacturing Engineering team—covering all elements of this complex system—is a specialized field within mechanical engineering. Landing gear systems are critical for safe aircraft landings and takeoffs and require specialized expertise for their manufacture. Our team integrates requirements from Structural, Materials, Systems, and Quality Engineering disciplines, translating them into work instructions and production procedures. We also provide all necessary manufacturing resources—aiming for lowest cost, shortest lead time, and highest quality standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your Day-to-Day Will Include:** * Developing machining programs and supporting try-outs for landing gear components; * Preparing technical documentation related to CNC machine programming; * Developing and implementing technical solutions for manufacturing processes to reduce recurring and non-recurring industrial costs, thereby improving quality and resource efficiency. **Requirements and Qualifications** **To succeed in this role, you must have:** * Completed technical diploma (certificate or degree required) in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering * Valid CFT license or documentation to obtain one * Intermediate English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) * Experience machining aluminum, steel, and titanium * Proficiency in CNC programming using CATIA V5; * Familiarity with CAM tools available in CATIA V5; * Knowledge of 4- and 5-axis turning/milling machine technology * Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and standards * Experience interpreting production routings * Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, Pareto charts, histograms, 8D, Ishikawa diagrams, 5W1H, etc.) * Understanding of Lean concepts and tools (VSM, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, TPM, etc.) * Availability to work second or third shift. **You’ll Stand Out If You Have:** * Knowledge of Fixtures and Clamping Devices * Participation in Kaizen events, continuous improvement, and quality projects * Experience with simulation software **Additional Information** On-site work model at the EDE unit—São José dos Campos / SP. **Benefits:** * Life Insurance * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Vaccination Benefit * Pharmacy Benefit * Wellhub * Multi-Benefit Card * On-site Cafeteria * Profit Sharing Plan (PLR) * Private Pension Plan * Cooperative * EMpower (internal training and development platform) Need support with the Gupy platform?
