About the Opportunity: Alcoa is seeking a Process Coordinator to join our Reduction team at the Alumar facility in São Luís do Maranhão, responsible for: * Optimizing existing critical processes to achieve gains in cost, quality, safety, environment, and productivity; * Analyzing and issuing conclusive reports and technical recommendations regarding operational and product quality issues; * Conducting statistical studies of process characteristics; * Managing control of key raw materials (coke, pitch, spent anodes); * Monitoring raw material receipt with the Port area and ensuring transfer to the plant; * Controlling inventory and auditing storage of raw materials, work\-in\-process, and finished products in the Electrodes area; * Monitoring production and process indicators, generating periodic reports for management. What You Can Bring to This Role: * Technical education in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related fields; * Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines; * Preferred: Intermediate English (reading, writing, and speaking); * Experience with audits, warehousing, and indicator monitoring; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
