




We have an opportunity available for a Maintenance Assistant position! **Job Responsibilities:** * Maintain, clean, and preserve all materials and equipment under your responsibility; * Log service requests in the GLPI system with task-related information until completion, providing feedback to requesters on service progress; * Perform low-complexity electrical maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing light bulbs, switches, outlets, etc.) to ensure operational facility conditions and full functionality, complying with applicable standards and regulations; * Assist with building, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and carpentry maintenance services across hospital units, as required and per immediate supervisor’s instructions; * Respond immediately to service requests within the scope of this role, performing maintenance throughout all hospital departments while applying appropriate precautionary measures and wearing correct PPE where required; * Perform simple repairs on hospital chairs and beds, such as replacing casters and cranks; * Use, under supervision, appropriate tools and equipment for each activity—including working at heights—while adhering to legally mandated safety accessories; * Organize the warehouse upon request; * Transport various materials and equipment within the hospital and between the asset warehouse and HSRC, and vice versa; * Accurately complete service request forms, indicating time, date, asset identification number, and other relevant details about performed services; * Report completed services, progress status, and conclusions to the immediate supervisor, requesting material purchases when necessary; * Relocate assets according to requests from the asset management department and instructions from the immediate supervisor; * Ensure the safety of users, patients, and staff during maintenance activities; * Clean and organize areas where maintenance services were performed, removing debris, waste, and stains; * Preserve materials, tools, and equipment used in maintenance services, requesting replacement when necessary. * Carry out preventive maintenance of building facilities; * Replace air conditioning unit filters according to the preventive maintenance schedule; * Clean air conditioning units during preventive maintenance using appropriate products; * Perform various tasks including: transporting materials, preparing mortar mixes, demolition, floor removal, removal of ceramic and tile claddings, construction area cleaning, site cleanup, debris removal, excavation, assisting masons and carpenters, and other related duties; * Identify construction types suitable for demolition and reusable materials; * Conduct demolitions and component removals when required, including: removing sanitary fixtures, dismantling plumbing systems, disconnecting de-energized electrical installations, removing window/door frames, stripping general claddings, removing roofing (slabs, roofs, timber structures), and breaking concrete and masonry structures; * Compact soil and excavate trenches when required; * Measure materials, add components, and homogenize mortar mixes; * Grouting of ceramic tiles, wall tiles, granite, and countertops; * Replace water fountain filters and maintain an updated preventive maintenance schedule; * Clean and unclog sewage systems, sinks, rainwater collection gutters, floor gutters, toilets, and siphonic tanks; * Replace faucets, valves, flush valves, showerheads, and siphonic tanks; * Fully isolate work zones to prevent disruptions to affected departments and patients. * Perform other related duties as required; **Requirements:** * Incomplete Elementary Education; * Minimum six months of prior experience in this role. **What We Offer:** * Market-competitive salary; * Medical assistance; * Dental assistance; * On-site meals at the hospital; * Transportation allowance; * Gympass
