**Job Responsibilities:** Responsible for executing digestions, fusions, leachings and completing analyses through readings on different equipment/instruments such as X-ray, ICP, AAS, MP-AES, Titrators, LECO, FTIR; Perform analyses on environmental matrices from sectors according to area procedures (waste, 24/48h parameters, ICP metals, distillation, colorimetry, gravimetry); Perform analysis activities as specified in the Status Report (CCLAS); Carry out washing, preparation, decontamination and sterilization of materials to be used in the laboratory, as well as prepare and sterilize culture media and solutions; Perform batch validations, release analysis results and make them available to the Reporting department; Support, when necessary, cold room storage (with prior authorization), sample reception, waste disposal, document filing and opening Non-Conformities; Work in compliance with the CCLAS management system; Execute quality controls applied by laboratories, acting in accordance with good laboratory practices; Assist and train new laboratory employees in performing technical activities, facilitating operational development and increasing productivity; Support immediate leadership on matters inherent to their area of activity, presenting and discussing problems and irregularities, in order to support defining procedures and actions to be adopted; Perform related tasks as directed by immediate supervisor; Observe compliance with applicable procedures and standards required by the area, identifying improvement opportunities through analysis and review; Comply and ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics, safeguarding adherence to clauses regarding ethical duties common to all employees; **Prerequisites:** * Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related fields; * Experience in mining laboratory; * Active professional registration (e.g., CRQ, CREA etc); * Intermediate Excel skills; * Availability to work rotating shifts (night and weekend); * Willingness to reside in Almas/TO.
