We manage projects at various stages of the mining lifecycle—from greenfield development through to operations—and employ over 2,100 professionals across Brazil, all committed to our mission. Currently, we operate three iron ore mines in Minas Gerais: Baratinha and Mongais Mines, part of the Baratinha Complex, and Pedra Branca Mine. Our first iron ore operation, Baratinha Mine in the Vale do Aço region, began operations in 2014 and features a wet processing plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons. In 2024, the Mongais Project commenced dry-processing operations with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons, increasing the total capacity of the Baratinha Complex to 4.0 million tons per year. In the municipalities of João Monlevade and Itabira (MG), the Pedra Branca Project began operations in the third quarter of 2025\. The project holds reserves of 130 million tons, including 33 million tons of high-grade ore, and is expected to reach full-capacity production of 2.0 million tons per year—exclusively via dry processing. Additionally, Bemisa operates a pilot-scale gold project in Pará state, located in Água Azul do Norte near the Carajás polymetallic district. Developed from the greenfield stage, this project does not use tailings dams for waste disposal and primarily employs local workers.
