Backend Engineer (Java) at BairesDev As a Backend Engineer, you will design and develop services and microservices using the JVM ecosystem. You will serve as a key contributor to building scalable integrations and robust server\-side logic with Spring Boot at the core of our technical architecture. What You'll Do: * Design and implement high\-performance microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. * Manage data persistence and complex queries utilizing JPA, Hibernate, and SQL databases. * Develop and maintain real\-time data pipelines and messaging systems with Apache Kafka. * Ensure code quality and system reliability through comprehensive unit testing using JUnit. * Containerize applications and manage deployment environments using Docker to ensure consistency across the development lifecycle. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to define technical requirements and optimize large\-scale system integrations. What we are looking for: * 4\+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Backend development. * Strong proficiency in Java 11\+ (17/21 preferred) and Spring Boot framework. * Extensive experience building RESTful APIs and microservices. * Solid understanding of JPA/Hibernate and relational database management using SQL. * Hands\-on experience with containerization using Docker and event streaming with Kafka. * Advanced proficiency in English.
