Register purchased merchandise, verifying product prices and codes. Process payments in cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment methods, issuing receipts and providing change as required. Issue fiscal receipts and invoices to customers. Provide courteous customer service, assisting with purchase completion. Previous experience as a Cashier, Cashier Assistant, Customer Service Operator, or Sales Assistant may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position. High school diploma required.
