Job Summary: Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and building systems and installations, including diagnostics and repairs. Monitor all maintenance, installation, or service activities that may compromise the institution's facilities; diagnose failures, execute repairs, replace parts, and support the installation of new equipment. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance—building-related, on machines and equipment—replacing defective parts and components to ensure assets remain fully operational; * Perform or assist with all types of maintenance required by the institution—including hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, masonry, and general services—as needed, using required materials and PPE to maintain institutional facilities in full compliance; * Prepare parts, tools, and instruments required for maintenance of equipment, motors, furniture, electrical circuits, hydraulic systems, and other unit assets, applying relevant technical specifications and current standards to maintain institutional facilities in full compliance; * Test operation of machines, equipment, and systems using appropriate devices and PPE to verify proper functionality; * Conduct risk assessments prior to executing any preventive or corrective action to ensure safety and prevent accidents; * Report all irregularities identified to the immediate supervisor to facilitate appropriate corrective actions and maintain facility compliance; * Monitor all maintenance and service activities that may compromise the institution’s building infrastructure, verifying installation and service procedures to prevent damage; * Signal the need to purchase materials to ensure timely delivery of requested services and meet operational demands; * Prepare technical reports on performed maintenance activities, recording data via checklists and work orders to build equipment history; * Select reusable materials applying 5S principles to maintain organized workspaces and institutional order. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School education; . Completed technical education in Electrotechnology or related field; . Minimum 6 months of experience related to the duties described, or specific training for this role; * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Familiarity with measuring instruments such as tape measures, multimeters, voltmeters, etc.; * Knowledge of technical standards and occupational safety procedures; .
